LaneOnline courses offer the convenience and flexibility of technology-enhanced courses that work around your lifestyle.

Online and hybrid courses are designated by the icon in the class schedule. Hyflex and Live Streaming courses are other LaneOnline course options. The Course Modalities page explains all LaneOnline courses types.
- Online Courses are conducted through the internet using Moodle, Lane’s course management system. There are no required meeting times on campus or on Zoom. Courses designated in the class schedule as "Online InPerson Testing" require on-campus testing. If you live outside of Lane County, you can find a proctor in your local area.
- Hybrid Courses are partially online. Some work is done in Moodle and the rest during regular meeting times. Hybrid/In-Person meetings occur at a specified time on campus. Hybrid/Zoom meetings occur at a specified time on Zoom. Attendance is required. The ratio of classroom time to online activity may vary from course to course.
The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree and Associate of General Studies degree can be earned through LaneOnline courses. There's an AAOT annual schedule of LaneOnline classes to help you plan a course of study.
What courses are available online?
View available classes for each term:
In ExpressLane, search for courses by going to Enrollment Services>New Registration>Register for Classes. Select the term and at least one subject. Under Advanced Search, scroll to Instructional Methods, and select "On-Line."

I’ve enrolled. Where do I log in to my classes?
When can I log in?
Courses become available in Moodle on the first day of the term. You may not see your course if you log in before then. If you are enrolled in a course that begins later in the term, it may not be visible in Moodle until the day it starts. Make sure you log in and get started as soon as your course starts. Instructors may drop students who don't log in or complete assignments due the first week. It is the student's responsibility to drop any courses in which they do not plan to participate, in ExpressLane, by the official refund deadline.
Where can I get help ?
The Student Help Desk (SHeD) provides assistance with a multitude of technology issues. Trouble logging in or using Moodle, Expresslane, Gmail/Gsuite, or Zoom? Give them a call, email, or visit them virtually or on campus. Head to the Lane Support Hub (link opens to our Zoom front desk) for Live Help if you have technical difficulties with your classes or need free tutoring, peer mentoring and/or career exploration support.
