Admission to the Graphic Design Program
Lane's Graphic Design Program is a two-year vocational/technical program leading to either an Associate of Applied Science degree or a Certificate of Completion. First-year courses are open to all students. Room is limited, however, for those who wish to take the second-year courses. Each May/June, anyone interested in the second year of the program must go through an official application process.
Admission into the second year involves filling out an application, providing transcripts, writing a short essay and preparing an assignment. Information about specific dates and requirements will be posted online in this site starting Spring term.
Many classes required to complete two-year programs can be transferred to four-year colleges. Be sure to check with your counselor or the institution you are transferring to for current information.
